Pastor Warren Lamb

Pastor, Bible Teacher, Certified Biblical Counselor, Theology Professor

Pastor Lamb has been involved in pastoral ministry for over thirty years. He is a “recovered psychologist,” having been trained as a clinical psychologist before coming to Christ at the age of thirty-one.

Since that time, he has gained extensive experience in Christian ministry, including teaching, conference speaking, Biblical counseling, and training Biblical counselors. Trauma and Abuse are significant areas of his counseling focus. He works extensively with those who have suffered significant trauma from childhood abuse and neglect, domestic oppression and abuse, sex-trafficking, kidnapping, sole-survivors of catastrophes, traumatic loss survivors, first responders, combat trauma survivors, and the like. He has pastored and been part of the pastoral team for several churches and speaks at various conferences throughout the country on a variety of subjects.

After completing the Nazarene Bible College Directed Ministries Study Program, he pursued post-graduate studies at Trinity Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Reformed Theology Seminary (Jacksonville), receiving a Master of Theology (Biblical Studies), Master of Theology (Hermeneutics), and a Master of Arts (Biblical Counseling).

Pastor Lamb currently serves as the Teaching Pastor of Truth in Love Fellowship, in Vancouver, Washington, and directs their counseling arm, Truth in Love Biblical Counseling Center. He has served as the Director of Truth in Love Biblical Training Center (formerly Vancouver Bible Institute) since its founding in 2006, where he also serves as one of the professors. He works with churches in these areas to develop Biblical counseling within their fellowships.

He is a Certified Biblical Counselor with the International Association of Biblical Counselors and is their Area Coordinator (Washington, Oregon, and Southern California). He is also spearheading the development of a new Certified Biblical Counseling Training Center in Southern California for IABC. He is currently serving as the Vice President of IABC as well.

Pastor Lamb is on the Advisory Board for Fallen Soldiers’ March Biblical Counseling Network and is leading the curriculum development team responsible for creating a program for training and equipping biblical counselors to bring the Word of God to bear on the “Consequences of War.”

He brings with him many years of practical experience specific to the realm of Biblical counseling.
